Stormy Hosting is a web hosting service provider, we provide platforms for you to use such as email, web hosting and secure ecommerce. To fulfil requests for domain names, digital certificates or other products or services, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, physical address, phone number, credit card information and/or organisational details or other personal information.


How do we use your information?

How do we protect your information?

Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.

We use regular Malware Scanning.

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order, enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.

All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.


Data and Consent

We will process your data for the purpose of performance of our contract with you or the legitimate interest of our business. In other cases, we will request your consent for the processing of the personal data you may submit. Your refusal to provide personal data to us for certain products and services may hinder us from fulfilling your order for those products or services. How long do we store your information for?

  • Personal data used to fulfil verification of certain types of products such as SSL certificates and Domain names, and this data will be retained for a minimum of 10 years depending on the class of product or service and may be retained in either a physical or electronic format.

  • Once a user no longer has any active products or services, their personal data will be retained for not more than 3 months. Once this time is up, all information on stored will be erased.

  • Even if you request deletion or erasure of your data, we may retain your personal data to the extent necessary and for so long as necessary for our legitimate business interests or performance of contractual obligations.

  • After the retention period is over, Stormy Hosting securely disposes or anonymises your personal information in order to prevent loss, theft, misuse, or unauthorised access.


Withdrawing Consent and Right to be Forgotten

  • You can, at any time, withdraw your consent for Stormy Hosting to retain your personal information. Doing so may affect your services on Stormy Hosting.

  • You can request that all personal information be removed, however this will only proceed once the user has no active products or services, or if the user cancels any remaining active products or services.

We have not enabled Google AdSense on our site but we may do so in the future.
